The Hammock Plantation is a low-key, local style, safe, family and group friendly Lodge. That started as a Hostel in November 2018
We are located in Playa Palmarcito, El Salvador just 5 minutes from El Tunco and El Zonte
the great thing about Playa El Palmarcito is, it’s not discovered by the mass tourist so during the week don’t be surprised that you are the only tourist on the beach.
El Palmarcito is a laid back local El Salvadorian beach community. We take pride in our community and praise Palmarcito as one of the safest, cleanest town and beach in El Salvador!
We welcome the solo surfer, backpackers, families and small groups. Come enjoy El Salvador!

The very nice owners, where a very happy to help with any questions. The complex has a nice pool and the sea is only 3 minutes walk away. There are beautiful sea pools by the sea and it does not have many tourists. In the immediate vicinity is the best Pupuseria.

The Hammock Plantation is a new hostal in a serene setting, located in a nice and calm neighbourhood - 2 minute walk from the beach. They have two pools, two toilets, two showers and a fully equipped kitchen. The free towels are a nice bonus! I was one of the first guests and it was a pleasure being there, the owners and their children are lovely! This place has a huge potential 😀

We had a great stay! If I had to come up with something that was disappointing, it was a bit noisy. But that is also everything.

I liked the area which is very calm and relaxed, eventhough the heat of the beach the place is cool during the day and very fresh at night, the place is so clean and you can find everything you need, a very well equipped kitchen and fresh linens, it also has 2 nice swimming pools and a bbq area between trees and a little forest sorrounding the property, El Palmarcito beach is only a 10-minute walk from the property which is very safe and clean. Xenia and Mark are very kind and always there to help you in whatever you need. My family and I enjoyed our stay there very much.
